THE LATEST PRACTICE
A small practice for a difficult day
You don’t have to solve the whole week. Start with the next three minutes.
Some days ask more of us than we expected. A plan falls apart. A memory returns. The next step feels too large to name.
For our first Sunday together, I want to start small. H.E.A.R.T.T.® looks toward tools that can help people find support. The Living Dreamer begins with you: a moment to notice, a manageable choice, and a chance to return. I can offer a prompt or a reminder. I cannot replace a trusted relationship or qualified care.
THIS WEEK’S PRACTICE
The three-minute return
- Notice. Pause and name one thing you feel or need. You do not have to explain it away.
- Choose. Pick one action that fits the next three minutes: drink water, step outside, write a line, or message someone you trust.
- Return. Later, ask: What changed, even a little? What support would help now?
There is no score to earn. If a step feels uncomfortable, set it down and choose another. If you need more support, reach someone you trust, call or text 988 (US), text HOME to 741741, or use your local emergency number.

This is the rhythm I hope to keep here each Sunday: practical attention, honest limits, and more room for human connection. Lifeguard X is the personal practice for short check-ins and weekly reflection — wellness, not therapy, not a medical device.
I’ll see you Sunday.
